Most Americans know that it is easy to buy medications in Mexico. Often they are less expensive than in the U.S. One place we'd like to recommend is Botica San Luis, just across the border in Sonoyta. We stopped there recently to buy some pills for a friend and were pleased to find a well-stocked pharmacy that had exactly what we needed, as well as a couple of friendly and helpful attendants.
Besides the pharmacy, Botica San Luis carries the usual cosmetics and health care products, as well as vanilla, which is much lower in price than in the U.S. There were also cold sodas in a refrigerator and various snack items. Valentine's Day is coming soon, and we were reminded of it by a pair of stuffed bears with red hearts on their clothing. The store also had a variety of baby items.
It's a good place to shop for your health and beauty needs, or just to stop for a snack after the long, dry drive from Tucson or Phoenix. The botica is conveniently located on the right as you enter the city.
