Tridipanel--Elgato's Answer to the World's Building Needs

    1. modified expanded polystyrene core

    2. outer layers of 2"x2" welded wire mesh

    3. galvanized truss wires pierce core and are welded to the outer mesh layers

    4. concrete applied on site with pneumatic equipment

Mexico's Tridipanel is faster, stronger, and more versatile and economical than wood frame or concrete block or any other wall panel system. No other system offers all of these benefits: up to 5 inches of interior thermal mass, continuous R-20 (R factors range to 22.5) insulation and a durable waterproof exterior.
The components of the Tridipanel System are simple--a core of non CFC modified expanded polystyrene, flanked by welded wire mesh, connected with galvanized truss wires and coated with concrete blown on by pneumatic equipment

Each Tridipanel is lightweight (a 4'x8' panel is just 38 lbs.) and is easy to handle and install. Walls can go up in hours, entire buildings--even multi-storied--in just weeks with unskilled labor.

The Tridipanels are placed over rebar embedded in a concrete foundation, then fastened to one another, and the seams and corners are reinforced with wire mesh. Windows and door openings are cut for any type of framing material. Electrical conduits and boxes and plumbing can be easily inserted between the wire mesh and the foam. Concrete is applied to the interior and exterior with a compressor to the desired thickness. This produces a monolithic structure to which any type of finish can be applied.

Tested by Man and Nature
In test after rigorous test, involving extraordinary forces and conditions, the panels have excelled. Results of wind-load and load-bearing tests show that the system is adaptable to virtually any structural requirement or climatic/environmental/seismic condition.
Nature has provided the severest of tests. A home built with Tridipanels in Homestead, Florida survived the fury of Hurricane Andrew with no structural damage; a two-story research complex built with Tridipanels in the Mojave Desert, withstood California's worst earthquake in 40 years (6.9 Richter) with zero structural effects.

Code Compliance
Tridipanels meet the CABO one and two-story family dwelling codes (Compliance Report No. NER0454, 1/1/93) which satisfies all SBCCI, ICBO and BOCA requirements for standard buildings. Tridipanels also have HUD compliance, covered under SEB#1120.

Greater Design Flexibility
- Panels are 4' wide by any length (in 8" increments) and adapt easily to curved/arched design applications.

Reduced Heavy Equipment on the Job Sites - Handling/installation requires little equipment and reduces manpower needs.

Fewer Specialized Trades Required -The need for framing, masonry, insulation and drywall trades is reduced or eliminated.

Simplified Utility Installation - Electrical conduit and plumbing are easily routed.

Reduced Construction Time - It's not uncommon for a few workers to erect the shell of a 2,500 sq. ft. structure in less than a day.

Greater Structural Integrity - Tridipanel produces a continuously reinforced, insulated wall with extraordinary strength-to-weight ratios.

Earlier Completion + Earlier Occupancy - This can mean lower total capital investment and a quicker return on investment.

Excellent Thermal/ Sound Barrier - Modified expanded polystyrene core meets all VA, FHA and HUD thermal requirements; double shell configuration minimizes sound transmission.

Lower Maintenance Costs - This concrete structure minimizes long-term maintenance requirements.

Environmentally Intelligent - Wire mesh is made from recycled steel; polystyrene core does not contain CFCs; system does not deplete forestry products.

Passive Solar Design - The design provides interior thermal mass, continuous insulation, and durable waterproof exterior surface, all in a 4.5" to 8"-thick wall system.

Limitless Applications
The Tridipanel System is being used in construction projects of virtually every type around the world, including: Commercial Office Buildings, Upscale Homes, Manufacturing Facilities, Schools, Fire Stations, Storage Buildings, Low-cost Housing Projects, Sound Barrier Walls, Fire/Privacy/Partition Walls, Retaining Walls, Underground Buildings, Co-Housing Developments, Municipal Structures.
